Richard Ngo

Finance Assistant

Hi! I’m Richard Ngo. I’m currently one of the two finance assistants in Irvington Key Club. When I had my Sophomore Maze day in Irvington, I didn’t know which clubs to join, as there was such a large variety. But when my friend suggested me to go and check out the Key Club station, I was immediately interested. Key Club was a group which held fundraisers, service events, and other fun activities frequently. And so, I joined Key Club, as it gave an opportunity to earn service hours (which are required to graduate btw!) while also helping the community. Many of their previous service events have included food drives and soup kitchen volunteering. Key Club not only hosts these events, but also donates a fair amount of their proceeds (from fundraisers) to charities like PTP, a Pediatric Trauma Program. After learning all of these details, I knew that Key Club would be a good choice, as it allowed me to do good deeds for the community, while also benefitting myself with service hours.

Now, if you wanted to know more about me:
My favorite hobbies would probably be watching action, or horror, movies and also playing tennis. Some of my favorite movies would be most of the MCU (But mostly Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-man, and The Avengers) and the Conjuring series. I’ve played tennis since I was about 10 years old and plan to play it until I leave Irvington.
