We are a club devoted to making keys. Not. Actually, Key Club is the oldest and largest international student-led high school organization, which provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. We are a high school branch of the humanitarian organization Kiwanis International, which is why KEY stands for Kiwanis Educated Youth. The core values of Key Club International are leadership, character building, caring and inclusiveness.

We are a part of Division 12 East along with American, Independence, James Logan, John F. Kennedy, KIPP San Jose, Milpitas, Mission San Jose, Piedmont Hills, San Jose High, and Washington. Irvington Key Club was chartered in 2008 by fellow high schoolers who love their community just like you! In the 2013-2014 Key Club term, we were awarded "Most Improved Club" in our division as well as having our faculty advisor earn "Advisor of the Year." Not surprisingly, our members do have a lot to offer as well as we earned "Member of the Month" in October, November, and December of the 2015-2016 term plus "Officer of the Month" in November of the same term. Additionally we are part of Region 17 and the California-Nevada-Hawaii District, which has around 50,000 members and is the largest district there is with over 500 clubs. Key Club has approximately 260,000 members in approximately 5,000 clubs in 31 countries!

Key Club isn’t just about service. Key Club is also about spirit. We have huge over-the-top spirit rallies. What else can you expect when 50,000 of the most outgoing determined spirited high schoolers get together? Key Club is about changing lives while having the time of our lives.

CURRENT PROJECTS

The ELIMINATE Project

Thousands of mothers and their babies are victims of maternal and neonatal tetanus every year. Kiwanis International and UNICEF plan to bring an end to it for just $1.80.

Pediatric Trauma Program

What is the leading cause of death for children ages 14 and younger in the United States? The goal of the Pediatric Trauma Program is to reduce these unintentional deaths through projects, education, and your help.

Current Service Events

Our goal as a school club is to provide our members with opportunities to give back to their community. All it takes is a couple clicks to sign up for a service event. Sign up for any of our many events and we'll look forward to seeing your wonderful faces there!
